Govt asked not to sideline Kashmir Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK) president Sardar Muhammad Yaqoob Khan has asked the PML-N federal government not to sideline the Kashmir cause in the wake of developing trade relations with neighboring India. Addressing a gathering on the invitation of the Lahore High Court Bar Association here, the Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK) president said the case of Kashmir would be raised and fought at every front and it would be taken to its logical end. Khan was of the view that Kasmiris did not want to route India but their right of freedom and freedom of expression should be recognized at state level. He said India should implement the resolution passed by the United Nations on the Kashmir issue. He said Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had assured complete support to the AJK government. Khan urged the PML-N government to shun foreign aid to surmount power crisis and offering help to build dams in the AJK. He announced full support to Pakistan as Kashmiri people wanted to see a strong Pakistan and were ready to render any sacrifice for it. He said during devastating earthquake of October 2005 the people of Pakistan had showed relentless love and affection for Kashmiris and helped them graciously. Reported by The News
