Grab your raincoats and umbrellas... Tomorrows forecast is RAIN! Okay... leave the umbrella, but a waterproof layer will be nice. ;) I will be hiking tomorrow rain or shine.... with a group or semi-solo... (Kelly Griffin is going for sure!)... Mt. Adams is in 3 weeks so gotta get some miles in. I HIGHLY recommend that for those of you attending have hiking boots (could be a slippery trail, dont want any rolled ankles... or worse...) I would also bring a pair of clean shoes / socks to change into when we are done and some towels that you dont particularly care about to wipe yourself and another clean towel to lay over your car seat. Available cars for car pooling are SLIM - so PLEASE be prepared to drive and purchase a day (or annual) Discovery Pass on the way to our hike if needed. Please bring plenty of water and electrolytes and a snack! We will still be meeting / leaving from Summit Fitness at 6:30 AM for those of you who are prepared for the weather and are going to embrace the rain! ;)
