Grace- Unmerited favour, handed out by GOD. We are all already living under HIS grace... Unfortunately, the concept of additional grace, is not something that GOD grants everyone or that every Christian deserves, or has, as part of being a Christian. Depending on, or looking forward to it, or even expecting it, is actually another excuse for laziness. You have to work, get up, show up, do something and hope that GOD will, along with all the good stuff HE has already blessed you with, grant you grace. GOD is not an excuse for laziness, nor is anything HE gives us the same. Men want promotions, but are not prepared, dont put in the work; women act like it is their right to be blessed with a good husband, but wont do anything to make themselves good wives. All expecting that GOD WILL JUST do it for them, that is not grace, that is feeding and breeding laziness. The promised land was promised to the children of Israel, but they had to do their part, they had to get up and go, believe, trust, walk, rely on and more, along the way; but guess what? They were the chosen ones, yet they, not GOD, screwed up their chances. Grace is not always associated with great things, you can still have it granted in little things, like GOD granting grace to a homeless man in his drug habits, keeping him from dying for a purpose, similar to Pauls complaint about the thorn, and GOD said, fret not about that, My grace is sufficient. I believe that we are to edify, improve, desire perfection, like our SAVIOUR is, yet though we may err, though we may fall, though we may backslide, it is comforting that in the process, GODs grace, draws us back to HIM and lets us know that there is nothing that cannot be forgiving. Faith without works is futile, I believe that grace is a gift from GOD and comes as HE so chooses, in the time being, we should continue to live striving, not waiting and hoping for it, because it is already always here; what you dont know is that even the breath you take each day, is by HIS grace...≈ʞDL®™©2014 #inspiredbyourfellowshipmeetinglastweek
