Grace For Today Tuesday, August 26, 2014 Theme: There Is Healing For You Scriptural Ref: Isaiah 61:1 “The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon Me, Because the LORD has anointed Me To preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives, And the opening of the prison to those who are bound; (Isaiah 61:1 NKJV) You might have experienced hurt in one way or another. There is no need to continue hurting. There is healing for you. Carrying along hurt and bitterness is only going to slow you down in life. They will give inroads to the devil to torment your soul. Christ is there because of you. He dealt with your challenge years ago. He knows how to take care of you. Just allow him. Take some time today, begin the healing process. Give it all to Christ. Talk to him about it. Let today be the last time you carried such baggage through life. Live free. Forgive. Do it for your own sake. Your ability to forgive makes you bigger than the offender. Wipe away your tears. Keep your heart fixed on Christs love for you. That will bring healing to your soul. His love will free you. You are greatly loved and cherished. You are not alone. Prayer: Thank you Father for all the care you show me. I pray today asking for grace to deal with all the hurt Ive felt. I understand today, that there is no need to go on hurting. I open my heart to your love today, knowing that your love frees me to live in the wide open spaces of your grace. I give you all the praise, in Jesus name. Amen.
