Grace and peace family! Victoria Osteen is trending on Twitter for this video, and Im actually kind of glad it is. Some may say its just a sound bite out of context, but based on whole sermons that Ive heard come from that organization, Im not surprised. In context or out of context, this just doesnt make sense. Family, Im not controversial for the sake of controversy. I hope you know that. Please pray for those who may be lured into this type of message. I urge you to be careful of who you listen to. Test all spirits. Test all teachings with the Word of God. Just because the Osteens smile and speak well and encourage a lot of people, doesnt mean its necessarily truthful. I know Ill probably catch some fire in my comments for this, but Im going to keep periodically showing you all why I dont follow teachers such as the Osteens. Let us hold to sound doctrine. Someone told me, Christianity is not about tearing down what others do. Well, it is when what others do contradict the knowledge of God (2 Corinthians 10:5). Some may say, Well Ive learned some truthful things from them. That doesnt mean we continue to accept all that they say. Even a dead clock is right twice a day. Because many more people have began to follow me and be influenced by what I say, I feel as though I have an obligation to speak on these things because I know many of you may follow people who do not hold to truth. I love yall fam! Hope you see my heart and sincerity in the matter. All that we do is for the glory of God.
