Grace is a person and His name is Jesus Christ. This is how I personally perceive the Grace message and what it has taught me. To me Jesus is the epitome of Grace personified! Everything that He did, He did because of His unending Love for all humanity. Ive learned through the Grace message that when I am less sin conscious or “self” conscious and more conscious of Jesus great Love for me, I rest in His abilities and accomplishments and His goodness then removes all doubt and fear from me. The law brings sin and death. Jesus brings life and life more abundantly. Anything or any teaching that teaches a man to look within himself, as opposed to focusing on Jesus and all that He accomplished, is not pointing to the cross as the answer. We have nothing at all accept for the finished saving Grace of the Cross. Jesus Christ and what He accomplished in his short 33 years on the earth and only 3 of them where He ministered, His Great LOVE is the only answer to all of our fears, our wants and needs, and anything that ails us! (a vision given to my friend Angela) Picture a huge magnificent Ox pulling a cart, that you are seated in. Then, see yourself standing up in that cart, because you want to see ahead of you, you want to know exactly where this Ox is taking you. All of a sudden the Ox (who is an analogy of God) stops pulling you and lovingly looks back at you as you are standing in the cart, and says, “My child please can you sit down? I cannot pull you and take you where you need to go if you are standing up in the cart. You could fall out or be harmed and I love you too much to let this happen to you. As long as you are standing, we will not be able to move forward and it is for your own good. If you will sit down and if you will rest and trust Me to take you where you need to go then I will continue to pull you again.” Then picture yourself sitting down in that cart and just resting and trusting and enjoying the scenery along the way as the huge magnificent Ox then starts to pull you again. When you rest in the knowledge of Jesus Christ and His act of obedience and His finished work on the cross, only then can God take you from Glory to Glory. I just wanted to share what Grace means to me personally and all I can say, is to truly know the Grace or to truly get a divine revelation of the Love of God through Jesus Christ and experience it personally, is the only way to live a truly “free” life on this planet while we are here. Jesus is the answer the only answer. Here are some scriptures that speak of grace and some definitions of grace that to me explain why I feel that Grace is the person of Jesus Christ.
