Gracie has been such a good girl lately that I was getting excited about moving her from the basement. Rewind to two days ago. I brought Jake out to meet her face to face. Grace came over and greeted him and there was no issues. Jake decided to bolt down the stairs to the basement. Gracie quickly followed as if to say oh hell no this is my place and this is my stuff. Jake knew he had made a mistake and laid down. I picked him up and headed up the stairs with Gracie running behind hissing up a storm. Next day I decided to let Mr.Gray come out and meet her face to face. All was well again until Gray decided to stick his big head in the basement door. Again Gracie was pissed. Time to slow the pace back down and give Grace more time to adjust to the other cats. In her defense she never tried to bite. Maybe she will be upstairs by Christmas.
