Gracious Friends of the Upper Crust- Once in a great while the noble gentlemen of the Upper Crust perform in Boston, the city long rumored to be the place of their origin, though the truth of that is lost in time, and is in any case highly unlikely… This next Friday, November 14th, is just such an occasion. The venue is the Midway Café in Jamaica Plain. On the strength of this very likely patently false conception that the Upper Crust are indeed from Boston, we believe that an extraordinary number of people shall attend this event, moved by an exhilarating yet probably delusional feeling of provincial loyalty and enthusiasm. We earnestly hope that you too shall be amongst them, as My Lords are greatly affected by such displays of simple, honest feeling—as such things are quite foreign to them. Yet whether it is a spirit of provincial pride or a simple yet keenly-honed appreciation of the finer things in life that moves you to attend, your presence cannot but enhance what promises to be the event of the season; an event that will in all likelihood prove the most kick-ass rocque show to grace the city of Boston in a very great while.
