Gracious God, we pray that You will be present with us this day, to direct, to give motivation, and further us in all the ways and duties of Your holy service. We realize the shortness of our vision and the imperfectness of our judgment. Therefore, show the power of Your heavenly grace in sanctifying our minds and in preparing our words and actions to carry out the duties given. May we be true to our high calling, have sympathetic hearts, helping hands, and may we be a blessing to those around us. Help us to rest in your peace today, regardless of hardships and struggles, and to find comfort in our Christian hope of Your providence and protection. We pray this together in Jesus name, amen.
