Grade 9 Orientation Starting this Friday Mr. Girard from Student Services will go to all the grade 9 classes to familiarize students new to the high school how to access our services. Here is in part what will be covered: “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11 Welcome to M.E.I. Secondary. We hope you have a great year and look forward to working together with you to help make grade 9 a positive experience for you. As most of you know, we are here to listen, to provide information, to help you make decisions and/or to work with you regarding academic, personal and/or career related issues. We will try to be aware of your needs, but invite you to also let us know when our support and encouragement would be especially appreciated and/or helpful, and to let us know how we can best support and serve you (eg. regarding relationship issues with family or friends, not sure what to do after high school, stressed out etc.). We hope that your experience at MEI is one that affirms who you are as uniquely created by God in His image, and encourages you to further develop your gifts and strengths, as you discover His plans for you.
