Graduate Trainee Tax Ombudsman x 2 Vacancies ShareTweet+ 1Mail Share on Facebook0Share on Google+0Tweet about this on Twitter1Share on LinkedIn0 SARS seeks to enrol qualified Graduates in the Tax Ombudsman Division: The mandate of the Tax Ombud is to review and address any complaint by a taxpayer regarding a service matter, or a procedural or administrative matter arising from the application of the provisions of a tax Act by SARS. “The mission of Tax Ombud is to facilitate justice in South Africa’s tax administration system by providing taxpayers with an expeditious, independent, impartial and fair redress channel. The graduate development programme of SARS is a 24 months programme (fixed term) where you will be introduced to a broad spectrum of learning experience while developing generalist and specialist fields. At the end of the development programme, trainees who successfully meet SARS’s recruitment requirements will be considered permanent appointment. Minimum Requirements: Matric Certificate Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture/Electrical or Mchanical Engineering/Construction Project Management/Quantity Surveying/Finance/Accounting Academic average of 60%+ Currently not participating in a Graduate programme/Learnership South African citizen Available immediately Qualifications: Matric Certificate Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture/Electrical or Mchanical Engineering/Construction Project Management/Quantity Surveying/Finance/Accounting The ideal candidate will have the following competencies: Ability work under pressure & meet deadlines Problem solving Team Work Team player Self driven Strong organisational skills Ability to perform under stress Customer focus Experience Not more than 06 months of work experience Employment Equity The Employment Equity policy of SARS will be considered as part of the recruitment and selection process.
