Specific responsibilities include: Translating static designs and wireframes into rich, interactive UI/UX for web and mobile delivery Evolving, enforcing and evangelising front-end development best practice Working with the team to plan and prototype new concepts and ideas Maintaining and improving existing functionality Required Skills/Experience Understand web development frameworks and design patterns such as MVC or MVW Educated to degree level or an equivalent level of industry experience (3+ years) Enthusiastic to learn new skills, technologies and techniques Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work well as part of a small, highly focused development team Understanding of agile development methodologies and experience working as part of an agile team (XP/SCRUM) Git/Subversion Design and development of responsive/adaptive cross browser web applications JavaScript, jQuery skills HTML5 and CSS3 Object Oriented JavaScript and JavaScript design patterns.
