Graduates: Video Production Assistant - GFI MAX (Edinburgh) Due to rapid company growth GFI MAX is hiring for the newly created position of Video Production Assistant within its marketing team, based out of its offices in Edinburgh Scotland. This team is strongly focused on marketing our software to fast growing IT Support & MSP businesses across the globe – including our rapidly growing community of over 9,000 customers. We provide a range of hosted software products designed to help them deliver great outsourced IT services to small to mid-sized businesses. Video is central to our marketing activity going forward and this is an exciting role in a busy department and the main purpose is to assist in video production, archiving and preparing video for online streaming. The role will also have a strong focus on motion graphic design/animation so we are looking for someone with strong skills in this area. Reporting directly to the Web Content Manager it will involve: Motion graphic design – scope, plan and create motion graphics for use in GFI videos Video production – assist in video shoots as needed. Familiarity with video, sound and lighting equipment for in field shooting Video editing – using Adobe CC Suite, cut together videos for use in online streaming and live events such as customer conferences Video archiving and management – ensure that master copies of videos are archived for backup purposes. Qualifications: Qualified to degree level with strong relevant experience Experience Knowledge of video production techniques (lighting, sound, camera) Knowledge of Adobe CC Suite (specifically Premiere and After Effects) Familiarity with HD and HD online streaming codecs Familiarity/knowledge of online database/productivity software Motion Graphic design experience Animation experience. Experience with video cameras and other production equipment, including DSLR Experience with social media marketing/analytics would be beneficial but not essential Key skills Exceptional oral and written communication skills Good Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills Highly organized with ability to work within deadlines Teamwork skills are essential Ability to troubleshoot computer problems gfimax/company/careers
