Graduates: Web Development Project Manager - MYMO (Glasgow) ScotGrad 6 month paid placement Mymo are looking for a dynamic Web Development Project Manager who will carry out a technical role in leading a small team to design, establish and maintain an E-commerce Website. This is a fantastic opportunity for a graduate project manager with web development skills. This Tradeston-based placement is for 6 months initially, with potential for a permanent role thereafter. Job description Mymo are expanding our business and looking for a Project Manager to co-ordinate the delivery of new web development projects, on a timely basis, for customers. These websites are primarily around mobile phones, accessories and recycling. The web development work will be sub contracted to a development agency, so the main role of the Project Manager will be to ensure work is being delivered in a timely fashion and in-line with customer expectations. However, web development skills would be an advantage and increase the potential future for the graduate in the business. Placement Objectives The setting up and executing of 5 quality and professional E-commerce Websites over a 6 month period. Role Description: The successful graduate will: Oversee and manage the E-commerce project governance from initial requirements, through to delivery and roll out Write content for the website Create on line videos Update the website with offers & other marketing material Create and update weekly project reports to update the business on progress Implement and oversee an ongoing E-commerce project roadmap Assist in scoping out and then creating the brands requirements from a look and feel / customer journey perspective Maintain critical paths and points of escalation for all elements on the re-platforming project. Qualifications Essential: Graduate from any discipline at undergraduate, postgraduate degree level or HNC/HND. Ideal: Candidate must have excellent Project Management skills, experience in eCommerce and ideally a good working knowledge of IT systems.
