No nation can survive a constant influx of non-citizens pouring into its society. No nation can survive the non-enforcement of its laws. Right now, the United States has both. However, it also has a citizenry that’s wide-awake and becoming more and more engaged. It’s happening all across the country. The Obama administration is trying to force illegal immigrants, who crossed illegally, into Texas. Into communities from coast to coast and you know what? These cities, large and small, are saying no…and they should. It happened in Westminster, Maryland. No to sending illegals into an old military facility. It happened in Greece, New York and again in Vassar, Michigan. Then there’s the well-publicized case in Murrieta, California. These people are not anti-immigrant. They are pro rule of law. They are pro legal immigration and they are pro constitution. They are supported by the vast majority of Americans from sea to shining sea. Polling shows this. A huge majority of Americans say deport! It’s the right thing to do for this country. Deport any and all people who break into the United States illegally. It’s not inhumane. What’s inhumane is sending a message to these people in Honduras, Guatemala and El Salvador that you can risk your lives to come here. It’s not only inhumane, it’s outrageous. It’s against the rule of law. The good people of America have had enough. They’ve had enough of a lawless president. On Friday and Saturday there will be coordinated push back. A national day of protesting against immigration reform, amnesty and border surge. Coast to coast protests. The estimate is some 300 communities will participate in this protest, but that’s just a sliver. A small fraction of the America that wants its southern border secure. What part of that do you not understand, Washington? Mister president? Congress? Enforce the law. Secure the border. Finish the fence that was started in the 1990′s and that works! Do it. That’s what we the people want. It’s what this country most desperately needs so that it has a chance at making it to the next century as a free and prosperous society.
