Gram Roth made it 100. Today was her last day. Wonderful woman. A shame I had to find out like this. Anyone wanting to go to the funeral, the info is below. I myself, will NOT be attending, as she is gone and SHE was seriously the only reason I kept contact with that side of the family since my parents divorce years ago. Since Linc remarried, Ive been steadily cut off from that side of the family ( Im a dead ringer for my mom...may be a reason) and excluded from family holidays and what not. For whatever reason...just plain WRONG behavior. Martha was the best Gram around and the Class of 1985 in Fairbury may remember that we built our Senior Homecoming float in her garage. Theres still green paint on the floor because of it. Im glad she and John are together now. I was the one who stayed with her after his passing that night while my idiot sisters and their friends went to a movie ( really?) and also was to the church early to sit with him so he wouldnt be alone at her request all those years ago. I wish I could do the same for her. Unfortunately, just not going to happen. If you cant see the attachment, give Linc a ring at 3773771 Cropsey exchange. God speed Martha Rose Roth, you were and AWESOME inspiration to me and I will love you forever. I miss your letters and I have them all. You were a spark of true love in a little girls shitty existence and the one who showed up for my school events, my speeches, my games. The world sucks a little more with you gone. I remember getting an Easter basket from you the first year on the farm and being so thrilled because I thought I was too old for one anymore. Had a charm bracelet in it that I wore until it almost rotted my arm green. Such a sweet woman. Theres a hole now inside, just knowing youre gone. It sucks.
