Grand Coalition welcomes Government Roadmap on the Constitution Press Statement Lusaka, 13 January 2015 The Grand Coalition on the Campaign for a People Driven Constitution in Zambia on Tuesday, 13 January 2015, received the Government’s Draft Proposed Constitution Roadmap and Guidelines for Public Validation of the Contents of the Final Draft Constitution. We welcome the Government’s release of the proposed roadmap and we sincerely hope that the release of this roadmap is not a campaign gimmick, but a true commitment to bring to an end this process that has dragged for years and gobbled billions of our hard earned money. As the Grand Coalition, our position is that the Constitution is not just for political parties, but for all people of Zambia regardless of political affiliation, religion, tribe, race, gender, age, and any such classifications. The Grand Coalition on the Campaign for a people Driven Constitution is currently studying the contents of the Roadmap we received from the Government, and we shall soon be sharing our feedback to the contents of the Government Roadmap.
