Grand Falls-Windsor-Buchans MHA Susan Sullivan had the pleasure of attending the Buchans Junction Fire Department Seniors Christmas Dinner tonight, January 10. Speakers reflected on the many positive things happening in the community, such as the agreement with Millertown for assisted fire services, the new fire rural response unit expected by August, the waste management treatment system, and the commitment of high-speed internet services expected to be completed by February. The MHA not only commended the community for its commitment to improve services to its residents, but also took the opportunity to acknowledge the support of Teck Resources for many of the projects it has supported in the region.
