Grand Mom Rose “You don’t know fun until you partied with heathens and pagans on Christmas Day.” Back in Our Lady of Grace grammar school the nuns used to collect money from the class so we could buy a pagan baby in Africa. You could buy an entire baby for 5 dollars I’m sure they cost more in 2014. You know who gets up before the Children on Christmas morning? Not heathens, they stay up too late. How about 90 year old mother in laws with multiple infirmities “god bless them” may they rock forever in heathen heaven sitting at the breakfast table eating toast and drinking juice from a straw –hopefully the other end is in a glass. Saw interview on T.V yesterday with 85-year old Black woman in Mississippi who was about to deliver her homemade pies to her church but never backed away from her small house which was trashed by a tornado the windows of her car blown out with wet pies on the floor boards yet she continued to “ Praise Jesus “ Heathens survive a twister and they talk smack to Heathen Heaven ‘C ’Mon man! That was unnecessary! Wet pies? A Heathen/Pagan is not an atheist they just don’t follow any of the three major religions of Christianity, Judaism or Islam. I’m okay with heathens and pagans, in fact ,I share ownership in about 20 of them I hope they have a happy Christmas or whatever it is they do to celebrate whatever it is they don’t believe. Note: Every after-school detention I got in 12 years of catholic schools I had to write a one thousand word composition on a religious theme before I could go home. I was always getting detention from the crazy celebrant clergy types partly because I deserved it and partly so they could sit around the convent or monastery sipping wine and laughing at the ramblings of a young man who would make a great priest or an outstanding heathen.
