Grand Nepal Visit BJP at CPN (ML) Convention BJP Leader Vijay Jolly visits Kashi Pashupati Nath Temple New Delhi: BJP delegation led by Global Convener BJP Overseas Affairs (OFBJP) Shri. Vijay Jolly attended the Communist Party Nepal (Marxist Leninist) 9th Political Convention at Kathmandu, Nepal. BJP Nepal sampark Cell Convenor & Co-Convenor namely Shri. Ajit Kumar and Shri. Gaurav Anil Gupta accompanied Shri. Jolly on the Nepal trip. The Nepal trip started on a auspicious note with a visit to holy Kashi Pashupati Nath Temple in Kathmandu by BJP leaders. CPN (ML) massive political convention was presided by its President Shri. Jhal Nath Khanal, Ex. Prime Minister. Other prominent leaders attended namely Parliamentary Party Chief Shri. K.P. Sharma (Oli), Former Prime Minister Shri. Madhav Nepal, current Acting Prime Minister Shri. Bam Dev Gautam, party Gen. Sec. Shri. Ishwar Pokhrel, Ex. Defence Minister & party Vice President Smt. Vidya Devi Bhandari etc. CPN is the ruling coalition partner in the cabinet of Nepal Prime Minister Shri. Sushil Koirala. CPN (ML) is the second largest political party in Nepal. It has 91 elected members of Parliament. BJP leader Shri. Vijay Jolly read out a “Special Message of Goodwill & Friendship” of All India BJP President Shri. Rajnath Singh at the mammoth CPN (ML) program. Shri. Jolly in his short yet forceful speech reiterated the strong commitment of BJP & India’s Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri. Narendra Modi for a strong, stable and healthy Nepal. Shri. Jolly was repeatedly cheered during his address at the CPN (ML) party program. Foreign delegations from China, Russia, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, EU, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Bangladesh also attended. While BJP was the star attraction at this program, the Indian Congress party was conspicuously absent. BJP leader Mr. Jolly met the Hon’ble President of Nepal Shri. Ram Baran Yadav, Indian Ambassador Ranjeet Rae and paid a courtesy call at the residence of Nepal Prime Minister Shri. Sushil Koirala who is convalescing in US for reported lung cancer. Mr. Jolly also visited the Vidyarthi Parishad office in Kathmandu. A Madheshi leaders delegation led by Former Minister Smt. Chanda Chaudhary also honored the visiting BJP leader in Kathmandu. A dinner reception in honor of BJP leader Shri. Jolly was organized by bio-tech specialist Roshan Yadav at Annapoorna Hotel and attended by Deputy Prime Minister Prakash Man Singh, Commerce Minister Shri. Sunil Thapa, Education Minister Smt. Chitralekha Yadav, Vice President Nepali Congress Party Ram Chandra Poudel, Transport Minister Bimlendra Nidhi etc. Mr. Jolly was treated over breakfast by Mr. Rajendra Mahto, President Sadbhawana Party in Nepal while departing back to India.
