Grand Rapids Cadet Counselors are all invited to the Chili Cook-off. This will be a fundraiser for the West Michigan Transportation fund for the 2014 International Camporee. Submit your favorite chili recipe or just come to eat. Five bucks gets you in and all the proceeds go to the transportation fund. Those that are submitting a chili need to register in advance (contact Pat Nagle at 247-7571 or ptnagle@hotmail) and bring all items required by your chili (i.e., Hot sauce, cheese, sour cream, etc.). Vote for your favorite chili and the winner gets the Chili Cook-off plaque. Buy as many $5.00 ticket packs as you wish and place them by your favorite chili(s). Drinks and breads will be supplied. Come for supper and come hungry. This will start at 6:00PM and end about 6:45PM. The Education portion of the meeting is designed to provide basic information that is pertinent to the International camporee - Compass, Camp Box, Knot Tying/Lashing, and Camping Preparedness. This will be followed by our regular business meeting.
