Granddaughter Sarah Hansen posted on FB that she missed the family gatherings we used to have which sort of went away when the older members of her generation of Hansens grew up, had families of their own and started their own traditions.But instead of just complaining, she hosted her own family get-together yesterday at 1:00 p.m. at her folks home. Posted the invite on FB. It was such a great time. At least one family was there to represent all four generations, from me as great-grandmother down to babies, Ella, Liam and Owen, Gabriel and Sebastian. So nice they postponed leaving for up north or other visits. Sarah starts college and job at Nexteer on Tuesday. I am sure her organizing skills will prove good as a business manager.
