Grandma in Paris I begged Madame GG to let us try a different restaurant in a city known for its cuisine, however, she said no one in Paris has better shrimp fritters or creme brûlée. Really? And how in the world would you know since this is the first time in your life youve ever had shrimp fritters and creme brûlée and at only one restaurant?!!! Its her trip, so here we are again for the 6th She just said You know Ellen and you are the same. Im pretty sure I know what that means but Ill just smile and nod. Im starting to think people stare because they think Im famous with a body guard or a wealthy woman with the means to buy you. -- Grandma Dont worry kids, I have tons of footage we will call The Lost Footage of Grandma in Paris. She obviously adores the hat I bought her since youve seen it in every picture and video. So much so that I found her asleep in it before dinner. Its a little creepy taking pictures of people asleep so I didnt snap a shot but trust me, it was adorable. I just need to fluff the hat back up. I bought her several perfumes at Roger & Gallet. They gave her a leather sleeve for the perfume in her purse and she thinks its the fanciest thing she ever saw. She had on 20 perfumes on her arms, coat and blouse but was able to pick the exact 3 she liked. Grandma handed out handwritten notes with the date and time of my building show to everyone in Paris. They dont get the A & E channel and pretty much 90% of the people she told did not understand a word she was talking about. So cute. Tonight we talked about how hard her life was as a girl. She started to cry (which Ive never seen her cry EVER). And she said she just wanted to tell me the stories about her life but all that matters is that she is eating creme brûlée today with her Grandson in Paris.
