Grandpa, my dads dad, the one who inspired me most to ink up. He had tats from all over the world, was covered. Its hard to remember the stories, mom helped me out yesterday. He died when I was 6 I remember. Was born 1900. Here is two quick stories. He joined a carvery hunt for Poncho Villa in 1916, lied about his age and they found out. So he joined the Navy in 1917, was in a machine gun unit in France, got it to a fire fight with the Germans. He tried to put his best buddies guts back in him, and was the only survivor. Was shell shock and it really weighed on his mind, the rest of his days. Proud of where I come from
