Granny Update: Holy Wow! We were given the choice to move her today to either a Rehab/Nursing Facility or Hospice Home care....we decided to move her to Rehab. The hospital had done all they can do, and at this point she was just kinda taking up a bed. Though she has been better the last day or so, nothing could prepare me for what I saw when Jessica and I walked into her room at Pickerington Rehab...she looked and sounded like the woman Ive known my whole life! Ill bet she gabbed on for an hour telling Jessica about HER first boyfriend! I mean, I was just blown away. Her color, her eyes...normal. Shes feeble of course, and on O2 still but her breathing wasnt labored, no IVs, no tubes...just a smile. Shes dreading therapy because they are hard on her, but she needs to move. I know shes not out of the woods yet, and she may never be 100% but Im here to tell you that GOD IS BIGGER than whatever you are facing today! Ive learned something valuable in this: its true that we shouldnt worry about yesterday...its gone. Nor should we worry about tomorrow...whatever is going to happen, will...Gods word says Sufficient for TODAY is its own problems (Matthew 6:34)..........one day at a time, people...one day at a time.
