Grant Surgeries- Time to Apply for local Assistance Heritage Lottery Funding Sessions 9th July 2013 Time: 9.30-12.30 Location: Burgh Halls The Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) will be running grant surgeries in July for any groups interested in getting some advice on their heritage funding programmes. Megan Combe, Development Officer, will be running 3 sessions in Linlithgow, Bathgate and Livingston. West Lothian has been recently designated as a Priority Area for HLF and they’re keen to speak to any organisations that have ideas for heritage based projects. 30 minute appointments are available to book at the following locations Contact Megan on [email protected] to reserve a slot. HLF has a number of grant programmes to support community-based heritage projects, including: • Sharing Heritage: A small grants programme for groups to explore any type of heritage. Funding between £3,000 and £10,000. • First World War: Then and Now : Funding between £3,000 and £10,000 is available for communities or interest groups to explore the impact of the 1st World War, with a particular emphasis on involving young people. • Our Heritage: Any type of heritage can be the focus of an Our Heritage application – funding is from £10,000 up to £100,000; and • Young Roots: Helping young people (between 11 and 25) to explore their history or natural heritage through projects with a grant between £10,000 and £50,000.
