Granville County Animal Shelter Oxford, NC --- GASSING SHELTER -- 80% kill-rate PLEASE HELP THESE FUR-BABIES AS THEY ARE ALL GREAT COMPANIONS AND WILL BRING LIGHT AND LOVE TO EVERY HOME THEY TOUCH .. A SMALL RURAL GASSING SHELTER.. VERY HIGH-KILL.. Maggie has been here awhile and is CODE-RED as shelter is full .. please help her.. PLEASE HELP THIS PETS IN THIS AC GET OUT OF HERE ASAP .. generally as the shelter is very small these babies are always URGENT .. their chances of making it to safety are slim to none .. need help NOW please !! if they need 501c3 Rescues to get them out of here generally the reasons are injury or health issue or timidity .. this shelter seems to kill many black dogs, big dogs and bull dogs.. lack of local fosters is adding to the death of beautiful pets .. JUST 22 KENNELS AND SPACE IS A MAJOR ISSUE.. PETS NEED TO GET OUT QUICKLY TO MAKE SPACE FOR INCOMING PETS.. please donate to their petcaring link ( if mentioned ) if you can.. no amount is too small and can attract a rescue and save a precious life from death in a gas-chamber !! PLEASE SHARE ANY OF THE BABIES HERE FAR AND WIDE TO HELP.. Please if you can adopt/rescue/ foster/ donate/ help in any way contact Laurie Cortright at gcspare@aol right away !!! Granville County SPARE, Inc. has volunteers available to help you pull the dogs for your rescue, a limited number of temporary fosters or boarding facilities are available to hold them until our next northbound transport (unless you prefer to make other transport arrangements). We transport periodically from NC to Ridgefield , NJ making stops along the I-95 corridor for drop-offs, asking the rescue to contribute only $25/crate for fuel. If requested, we can coordinate local vetting at a discounted rate prior to transport so that the dogs arrive ready for adoptive homes. Thank you for caring for the poor babies here .. God Bless
