Graphic Designer (2D) Exhibition Graphics - South West. £20 - 25K. (This is a Permanent Position. Freelancers will be considered if happy to move into a permanent position) Offering a turnkey service including high quality modular products through to Bespoke Design and Build stands, our client is one of Europe’s leading providers of Exhibition and Display solutions. Due to growth they are now strengthening their Graphic Design team, and are recruiting a Graphic Designer/Art Worker. Working with the studio team, your main responsibility as a Graphic Designer will be to see jobs through from brief to production. With previous experience designing graphics for exhibition stands, calculating graphic specifications and good knowledge of pre-production and print processes, you will be able to demonstrate creativity and technical knowledge of production. You will be able to take briefs and see the project through to completion, working to strict deadlines and juggling briefs for multiple clients. You should have Previous Graphic Design experience (2D), ideally with experience of exhibition graphics. Competent in the use of Mac, using Adobe CS Suite, Excel, Word, Outlook and *NAV - *training will be given Strong organisational skills with knowledge of administrative processes Ability to work to tight and critical deadlines Client focused and service driven Job responsibilities: Schedule and prioritise workloads both daily and forward planning Communication and liaison with sales for upcoming and current projects Liaison with clients agreeing and confirming designs Preparation of graphics in line with client requirements Pre-flight checking of supplied artwork prior to sending to print Sending artwork to print within required deadlines Maintain administrative compliance Occasional additional hours including some weekends may be required This is a permanent position with a leading exhibition company, ideally starting in August.
