Grateful - Day 100 Today is my 100th day post bone marrow transplant on April 26th. This is a benchmark in BMT-land. It states that I have chosen to stay around for a while longer! I am feeling stronger every day and I can walk farther, not take as many afternoon naps and I am ready to accept some clients now. I feel incredibly grateful to my friends and family who have supported me through this experience. It is remarkable to have a network of people who all help when they can and in the way that works for them that ultimately left me feeling completely supported. Perfectly. Thank you! In addition, the health care at VGH has been breath taking. Never having been sick before having been diagnosed with leukemia in November, I had no idea of what to expect. I received superb care from the nurses and doctors on T15 and CP6. I was amazed actually. Lastly, I realized this morning, that I feel stronger than I have ever felt before. It is a deep quiet strength. This experience has offered me gifts I could not have imagined before it began. The journey is not over yet. This is the end of this part of it and I am left with a lot of gratitude and love. Thanks Everyone!
