Grateful Challenge I was nominated by my great friend and work sista, Fran Morganti, to express gratefulness for three aspects of my life. My life has changed in many ways since June but I am surely grateful for many things, its hard to choose just 3! 1) Most grateful for my family, all of them living with me, close to me, those in other states and in Ireland, who daily are there for me in anyway they can possibly be. My mom is the greatest nurse ever! Tom, Rachel and Katie make life as normal as possible and love me as does Barbara&Mike, Brian&Deb, Jim&Beth. I love keeping up with news& fun from Gina, Gianna, Asher&Austin. All of my family, near and far sustain me! They are all my life! 2) A large chunk of gratefulness goes to my friends like Eden, Wagwick, Linda M, Maria S and the many patients whom I consider as friends, Alice, Daryle, Quailes, Fish, and so many who check on me and send well wishes! In this group are THE most extraordinary friends, my work sistas: all the women of Sullivan Turner Dental whose beautiful photo I shared, Cathy,Marissa ,Fran,Kaleena ,Rosie ,Leah , Erica, Debbie, Jenny, Colleen,Holly and Amy. They are more like family and are like an army going to battle for me with t-shirts, bracelets, ribbons, pens, pins, many gifts to help me and so many kind thoughts and words to keep me up. Shout out to DS and DT too, I am grateful for all your help, but you are not getting one of my hats, DS! 3) I hate going through it but I am grateful for chemo and all the medical procedures I am having or will have cause they are helping me to be alive for a long time, I believe. If it wasnt for the ultrasound, no cancer would have been found. Chemo is horrible, but it kills the cancer and radiation too. I hate needles but surgery in November will keep me here to live and to love all the people in 1 & 2 and to do do much more in life!
