Grateful day 7. Too much to say--those dinners with family at 6 pm every day--all 7 of us; those hamburger Sundays with all our spouses and then our kids. Im grateful for the invention of the telephone so I can still, as my mom says, have a visit. Im grateful for technology so I can instantly chat with anyone any time. Im grateful for science, medicine, and cures--need more of that. Im grateful for color, music, reading, writing, walks. Im grateful for February in Florida, camping trips growing up, scout trips with my kids, road trips. Im grateful for my teaching jobs and days at Loehmanns and Shoe-town. Im grateful for the values instilled in me--honesty, hard work, responsibility. Im grateful for my precious kids who keep me busy, make me smile, bring me joy and pride, and whom I love so, so much! And though I can go on and on, I will just do this: I am grateful for ___________. Now I can fill it in all the time.
