Grateful for all the prayers and kindness shown toward our family during the loss of my wifes Mom. God was with us at the funeral. His Presence was there! Larry and Kaye Greear shared a beautiful song,It is Well With My Soul. Renee Sturgill Conley sang 10,000 Reasons and Amazing Grace. My wifes sister Kim shared about how special her Mom was. Pastor Marty Puckett of Marys Chapel was a true blessing helping in the funeral . I was helped greatly by the Holy Spirit in bringing the message. My wifes Mom Frankie was a very special lady and it was an honor to share of what a wonderful testimony she left behind! On Saturday as we we were preparing to leave to go to the gravesite,it was raining very hard. I prayed Lord clear the rain so we can have a good final goodbye. As we approached the cemetery the rain stopped and the clouds opened up. God granted us a space of time to have a final prayer. God is Good ! I also got to preach the funeral sermon with my wifes Moms Bible which she had read cover to cover!
