Grateful for another day above ground, theres no reason for any of us to be down. God is good all day every day. I brought tradition yesterday by preparing the food I already. My desire was t o break the chain of unnecessary spending and focus on the HAVES and not the have nots. God said, I will supply all yours according to his riches in glory. By sticking to my beliefs, my girlfriend blessed me with an entire meal. As a child of two great cooks, I learned theres an art to cooking. From my thrifty companion I learned, I throwing away food I could have used at a later date. Aunt Fee cant get what Im about to share. Last week, I made homemade chicken soup. Normally I would have thrown the leftovers in the trash. I froze it. Someone gave me a variety of rolls. I froze them also. I thawed both items. Puree the soup added onions, peppers,and little butter. Daaiyah cut the bread in little squares. I placed the bread in the oven to toast, while I cooked ground Turkey and hot turkey sausage. I combined all those ingredients together with two cups of water......BAM TURKEY STUFFING. Items already in my home. I had for granny apples peeled diced cooked once they were done popped them in bullet, added a little lemon, sugar and cinnamon, I made delicious applesauce. My family was not going for that as a dessert. I made Texas size pound cupcakes (bigger than the average cupcake). I also filled some with applesauce. Chris said, Mom-mom the food was so good I was chewing my chicken bone and even though my stomach was a little tight that cupcake was good. I cant wait until tomorrow to eat. All the years of purchasing things according to mans tradition is over. I`m GRATEFUL for the knowledge he blessed me with. The only I had to purchase was cheese and foil paper. Making individual desserts save me from the hassle of cutting cake. I wrap the cupcakes in plastic wrap and family go for what they know.Once you know better, you do better. Times are hard and it will get worst according to the scriptures. We need to get away from process foods because its killing us. We dont know what chemicals theyre using. Saladin brought the wrong brand of cheese and destroyed the flavor of my Mac and cheese. It was sharp cheese but it was Kraft. That cheese to the longest time to melt. Nevertheless, dinner was great. I`m thankful. As you prepare take home plates for your guess this evening, make a plate for your neighbor or senior in your neighborhood. Fix a few plates and give it to a homeless person. Be a blessing and make someones day. Get rid of a grudge, embrace constructive criticism with love. Make a difference and make GOD proud. HAPPY HOLIDAY!
