Gratitude #1. I still remember the day, flying from Heathrow to MBay, going on a mission, the engines of the plane started packing up one after the other. I called on Your name and You saved me. We landed as the last engine developed fault. #2. On our wedding night, my new bride screamed out from her sleep, nearly convulsing because of a demonic attack. The devil putting on the face of a family member appeared in her dream & said to her, I will deal with you like I dealt with your aunt. I will cause you pain & then, kill you. It was frightening, but we took authority & prayed right away. Within few days, life took a new turn & things began to fall apart so fast and intensely. But I am grateful to God for holding my hand through it all. His divine presence has given to me all things pertaining to life & godliness. #3. At 30, Billy Graham sent for me as one of the emerging kingdom servant on the continent. God, You ordained, supervised & executed the process. All training and expenses taken care of by You. I didnt have to push or do anything to experience Your manifold goodness towards me. What a new season for me! God, you gave me new perspective, exposure and more grace. The mission became even much more urgent in my heart. I am forever grateful for Your love & life. This is Your love-overwhelmed child saying thank you, Father God! Psalm 34:1-3 I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth. 2 My soul shall make its boast in the Lord; The humble shall hear of it and be glad. 3 Oh, magnify the Lord with me, And let us exalt His name together. Thank you Sis Kemi for encouraging me to go on this gratitude challenge. The goodness of the Lord refreshes the soul.
