Gratitude Challenge Day 4 Yesterday was a disastrous miracle, I wasnt able to write this post before I went to bed for reasons Ill explain below: (WARNING: The pictures are gross :s) -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1) To commemorate Sam Lius last day, we went cycling from Tai Wai to Tai Mei Tuk, Hong Kong and then back to Tai Wai: The weather was fine - although we both got sunburn - and the food was nice and cheap (we had iced pineapple, iced apricot, beancurd jelly, and loads of icy drinks). Those are happy experiences :) 2) While we were heading backwards, I raced down the tunnel before I realized I was going too fast; and when I called out to the girl whom I was trying to take over, she suddenly flinched. Startled by her sudden movement, I fell off the bike and crashed onto the asphalt road. While I crawled up, all I knew was pain, pain, pain all over my body, and gushes of blood streaming down my face onto my legs and floor. Luckily, Sam and I werent alone, there were actually a 3 groups of cyclists who called an ambulance for me. Phew~ 3) When I reached Prince of Wales Hospital, I registered at the emergency room but was told that I needed to wait for 7 hours omg. Some time later I felt headache and nausea probably cuz I ate too little and I lost so much blood, so the nurse gave me a wheelchair (later a bed) and I jumped the queue. Saved a few hours hehe :P 4) 5 hours after the accident I met the doctor, who was nice and who recommended me to get X-rayed and stitched. I wasnt informed of any bone fractures, and the stitching was wonderfully done too (although it hurts >
