Gratitude Day 2: 1- I am so very grateful that I was able to spend 12 years of my life with my mother. Although I lost her so young, her gorgeous face, radiant smile and sweet singing voice has left a permanent impression on me. 2- I am so grateful to have had a father that devoted his life to his children. I was 38 years old when I lost him, but already a mother myself. I did not fully comprehend the sacrifices my father made for us until I became a mother myself. I am grateful that he taught me to my a loving, affectionate and caring person. He was an awesome OB/GYN and I was so proud of his skillful hands. 3- I am ever so grateful to have a woman like Margie DeArce whom I can call Mom. She has been by my side through thick and thin, she is stronger than she knows, she is an inspiring role model and her love for everyone is immeasurable. She helped me raise our children, she went to every doctors appointment, spend sleepless nights in the hospitals with the kids. She is a woman that is so loved by all 4 of her children, all 3 of her children in law and all 6 of her grandchildren unconditionally. Mom, Nana, Marge....who ever you are to her...you surely love her to pieces. As the saying goes...you get what you give and she gives so my love to everyone you can help but love her back even more. God took my biological mother but he replaced her with my Mom DeArce.
