Gratitude Day 4 1. My still functioning space suit -- arms, legs, hands, brain, eyes, nose, ears 2. My grandparents and other story telling Southerners who gave me my ability to see humor in life and an appreciation of great characters, good timing and punch lines. 3. Along those lines, my Daddy, William Grant, who taught me to appreciate the brilliant work of Jackie Gleason, Art Carney, Cid Caesar, Howie Morris, Imogene Coco, and Don Knotts. 4. My mother Libba and my brother Bubba, with whom I enjoyed so many late night movies and our beloved Johnny Carson. The joyous laughter still reverberates in my heart and I believe, always will.
