Gratitude Day 5 - I am grateful for education. I am glad I had some pretty great teachers growing up and I have met some great ones along the way. Theres a great scripture that says Whatsoever principle of intelligence we attain unto in this life, it will rise with us in the resurrection. And if a person gains more knowledge and intelligence in this life through his diligence and obedience than another, he will have so much the advantage in the world to come. -D&C 130:18-19. Education is an essential part of our Heavenly Fathers plan. As we increase our knowledge, we not only educate our minds and develop skills and talents, but we also have power to perform well in responsibilities and increase our capacity to appreciate life. So the education we get here, we will take with us to the eternities! That is good stuff! So hug a teacher today and strive to learn and develop your talents as it is good too!
