Gratitude challenge : Day 2: dedicated to my grandparents . 1. Grateful to have known 3/4 of my grandparents in my lifetime . ( This year my maternal-grandmother , Chaya Bracha ,passed away - the last one of the holocaust generation .) 2. Grateful to have had family that were genuinely happy with their lives despite all the suffering they went through . My grandfather , Moshe David , lost both his parents and all 5 of his siblings by brutal murder at the hands of Hitlers men . He used to tell us that each one of us that WE were his legacy and proof of life . The amazing amount of tough love and positivity from this man is with through every challenge of life . I will always remember him singing Ella shbchol dor vdor amad elinu .... V hakodosh B HU matzilenu meyadam in every generation those who stood up to destroy us but GD has saved us from their hands . Meant so much more coming from a sole survivor who always thought positive . Yiddish saying : think good and it will be good . 3. Grateful to have two sons whom are both named after our beloved grandparents Moshe David ( David ) and Shlomo Kaman( Clark ) who will hopefully carry their character and love . Grateful to lead a life that is full of giving and receiving love . Hard to live up to .. But doesnt stop my from trying .
