Gratitude day 3: I am grateful that 13 years ago my mother and step father landed safely in Canada on their flight back from London. I am grateful for for the men and women that chose to make the sacrifice to help so many others. I am thankful that two work colleagues that were in new York City that day in meetings with new York City transit were able to come back home safe and sound and I have the privilege of working with them still today. I am grateful for the red cross that came in to feed and provide shelter for the people on planes that were diverted to canada. I am grateful for all the men and women who have made the choice to protect this country and the freedom we enjoy.
