Gratitude for All I have to Celebrate in Life On my way to my birthday dinner, I came across a bad car accident. Witnesses and passers by were gathered around the over turned vehicle trying to assist the passengers in every way possible. On the opposite side of the road I noticed a woman with her hand holding her heart , obviously a witness to the collision. I parked my car and ran over to see if she was in need of assistance. She assured me she was fine just a bit shaken. She then explained how her 14 yr old daughter was killed in a similar accident. Her daughter would be the same age as my only daughter. I couldnt keep myself from embracing her. She shared details of the horrific event as we waited for paramedics / police to arrive. I expressed my admiration for the strength in her eyes as she relived one of the most painful moments of her life. Once the accident victims were en route to the hospital we exchanged information and agreed to keep in touch. She said her strength comes with knowing how much her daughter would want her to truly live her life and she asked I do the same. She wished me a great birthday and asked that I share her daughters story with my own daughter to encourage her to live life to the fullest. Was this a coincidence ? I think not! I understood it as a message for my daughter and I and to share with all of you. Live Life to the fullest, Celebrate every joy and precious moment! Love to You and yours.
