Great Free Weekend! Please pass the word along and join them! The 14th Annual Mark Harmon Celebrity Weekend will take place June 27th and 28th, 2014 with events in the Oklahoma City Area. This weekend brings Mark Harmon, acclaimed television and motion picture star, and his celebrity friends to our city to raise money with the Oklahoma Kidz Charities Foundation. The Oklahoma Kidz Charities Foundation is a 501©(3) non-profit organization dedicated to supporting fellow non-profits in Oklahoma whose values reflect scholastic leadership, academic excellence, mentoring and healthcare assistance for children. OK Kidz has set a goal of raising over $400,000 to financially assist three Oklahoma charitable organizations and Sunset Therapeutic Riding Center has been selected as one of those organizations, along with the Oklahoma City Indian Clinic and Anna’s House Foundation. The weekend events starts off with a Celebrity Bowling Night at the Stars & Strikes Bowling Event. The event will be held at the Fire Lake Bowling Center in Shawnee. Doors open at 6:00 pm and bowling starts promptly at 7:00 pm. Saturday will see a Celebrity Baseball Game held at the Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark at 1:30 pm. This is the game fans of every age wait for all year! Mark Harmon and his Bombers are back in town for a 5-inning charity game. The Bombers have claimed victory in the last two meetings over the OSSO Outlaws. sunsettrc.org
