Great Grandma Update: We finally got her home aroun six pm today. It was very hard on her having to be moved so much, she was just exhausted. Then the hospice nurse came out to set things up and to discuss different issues and medications. So it is now allmost nine p.m. Momis tucked in and starting to get comfortable so I have come home with instructions for Mary to call me day or night if she needs help. One bit of encouraging news is that the Culture that they took two days ago is so far not showing any growth for the bacteria that the doctor wass worried about. It still has a day to go but this is a good sign I am told. But I know that she still has some cellulitis in the leg and will continue on antibiotics. I had a talk with her today while waiting to go home,to make sure that she truly understood what could happen for having suspended the treatments. I told her that if she go a bad infection it could end her life. She shrugged and said so, maybe i would miss living a couple of more days..... we allhave to go sometime. So I think she is feeling good about her choice and is ready for the journey back home. Will keep you posted when there is any change. Love to all of you Ruby
