Great Halloween night! Went to moms church festival first. Almost got into a brawl in the parking lot with some woman about how my mother parked her truck. It got ugly quickly. That happened as we were trying to leave. SOME PEOPLE!! Then went to Hull Valley Drive. I always walk the street with the kids while mom drives. About half way down the street, I was thinking where is Jason of Hull Valley. He has been there every year for the last few years. I was watching mom drive by us and said something to her, about that time I heard a quiet rustle of dead leaves so I turned around. Jason was standing right behind me, staring his Jason stare. I about jumped out of my skin. It was like he read my mind. I yelped and took off running down the street. I think I knocked over a couple small children in the process. My kids were running behind yelling Grandma, Grandma! I dont know who that guy is but I appreciate his efforts every Halloween. I look forward to finding him, it just makes my night. Then we went to the Haunted House on Sanders Rd. Another yearly tradition. Had apple cider, pizza and saw all the new decorations. These folks do a great job every year. It is always free. If you have never been, you really need to see it. It is so well decorated that the Discovery Channel filmed them for a show. Then mom and I decided to take the kids through a graveyard on the way home. I told them to get out and look around. Then mom and I drove up the street leaving them in the dark. But it didnt scare them. I still had a good laugh. The kids just think were nerdy. Great night, great weather. If anyone knows who Jason is...give him a big THANKS for me.
