Great New to share here: We are so happy to announce that we finally achieved the 1000 likes before the end of 2014. We achieved this with pride as we did not cheat or buy it. All the hard work came from a very beautiful girl, Yu Ling. As you know I always love to share happy story, Yu Ling is Ivan’s niece who from Malaysia. This is her first time to visit NZ, she is a very special young lady with a kind heart. She is doing this without expecting people to return her any favour. Actually, some of you may had met her , she came to our Christmas Party and helped us. But not many people know she just lost her best friend/ cousin who took his life in May this year (Ivan’s nephew). The family including grandparents have been worrying about her wellbeing because she was very upset by the whole thing and decided to let her come to New Zealand for a change of enviornment. Ivan is a very lovely and supportive uncle who took very good care of her in this 2 months. Ivan introduced her to me and through the time I realise she is a very polite, considerate and caring young lady and abit shy. Despite she doesnt like Zumba at all …lol, however we clicked and got on very well just like mum and daughter. We spend lots of time together at the moment. She appreciate the love and care I show her and reciprocate with text and ask me to make sure I have enough rest and so on. She knew we needed 150 plus “likes” for the trust’s Facebook page, the last 15 days she worked very hard quietly sending personal text and messages to all her friends by asking them to help. Beside that, she now decided to come to NZ next year to study Vet’s nursing course. Why I am sharing this story? I think it is people who make our life a better place, despite adversity in life, we can still find happiness and through it become a stronger person. In turn, we will find the confidence and motivation to live. Such positive energy can create change. This young lady touched my heart so much, Ivan and her family have been very greatful that she met me however, the fact is her company and compassion have allowed me to love her just like my own daughter. Somtime I think, if I do not have the miscarriaged my unborn daughter will be her age now. I am greatful that life is fair and despite I don’t have my own daughter yet I get to meet someone who I feel have been part of my life. I learned thing happened with good reason sometime. Personally and on behalf of the trust I would like to honour this young lady Yu Ling, she definitely leaves her footprint here in New Zealand, also in our heart, because of her simple generosity with her time and commitment to achieve a simple but yet were seem to be an impossible task.
