Great News - The ambulance will be paid off and they voted to to overturn the Enterprise Account so that the department can now go back to a budget by the town. Both are great news! Now we just need to ramp up the volunteers like both departments used to have and we will be in great shape! RESULTS OF JANUARY 24, 2015 SPECIAL REFERENDUM ELECTION TOTAL BALLOTS CAST: 545 Referendum 1: A “Yes” vote means the Town shall give up the 2010 Horton Ambulance A “No” vote means the Town shall retain the 2010 Horton Ambulance YES 79 NO 459 Referendum 2: This referendum will require authorization for a 6th payment on the June 2015 ballot. YES 369 NO 153 Referendum 3: Passage of this referendum will allow the ambulance to be paid in full. YES 374 NO 161 Referendum 4: Passage of this referendum will rescind the Enterprise account for the Rescue Dept. and will become effective July 1, 2015. YES 477 NO 64
