Great Product Most of us at the roastery drink coffee as it were intended – straight-up black and we brew via manual drip in one form or another – normally using a Hario V60 cone and filter paper. Coffee and water volume is weighed, and brew time measured all to control extraction. To do this we use to use a stopwatch and a kitchen scale – now we are using the new Hario brew scale - designed specifically for the preparation of manual drip coffee - and we love it. It is accurate to 0.1g over 200g and has a maximum weight ratio of 2kg so you can even sit a brew station on it and/or a Chemex. It has an automatic timer for brewing to very precise times and weights. In addition, the scale has been designed to slot into a new brew station also designed by Hario to work with a V60 filter system. The entire set-up (brew station and brew scale) can work as one unit. The brew station is made of Perspex with a steel removable drip tray. The brew station and the scale are sold independently and although in our view expensive you do get what you pay for with Hario and this is a very well thought out product. coffeereal.co.uk/hario-drip-scale-and-brew-timer-p-614.html
