Great Spark Love David Hi David! I had a rather interesting spark today that I wanted to share with you. I was at a local well-known coffee establishment standing in line when I noticed the woman in front of me. She was disheveled and dirty, her hair probably hasnt been washed in weeks. She had a shabby, baggy sweater and she was carrying a blanket. She had one leg wrapped in an ace bandage and a sandal on that foot. The toenails of that foot resembled the talons of an eagle. Everyone was sidestepping her and avoiding eye contact at all costs, it broke my heart. When she got up to the cashier she opened up her quite worn Bible and there were a few dollars folded up in it. I caught the cashiers eye and signaled that I would pay for her purchase. While I was waiting for my warmed pastry another woman came up to me and commented on how nice that was. I brushed it off. This woman then went on to talk about how she reads on Facebook all the time about people in the drive-through that have the person in front of them by their coffee. She was complaining that this has never happened to her. I asked her if she has ever bought the coffee of the person behind her - she stopped and I saw that she had an a ha moment. I explained that the spark has to start somewhere, so why not be the one who starts it? I explained your mission and how I try to spark at least once a day. (I really have to get some of your cards!) After a bit I looked up from my laptop and noticed that this same woman brought the disheveled woman a muffin to go with her coffee! A new sparker! That made my day!
