Great Spark! Love David Im not really involved with organization but when I do read the things posted on this page it makes me extremely happy. Just wanted to share a short story. Im 21 years old and work in a trauma hospital in MA. I was walking to get a coffee with only like 20 bucks on me until the next pay check. I saw a person just watching as people ordered coffee and food. After reading a couple stories I thought to myself I could have. Spark moment so I did and grabbed a muffin and regular coffee for the person and have the change to them. Now I had been j cited to a conference I. Disney for premed students and had to reject the idea because I would not be able to afford it. And than someone gave me some money as a donation and it continued throughout the unit. Although I dont have the complete money, I have been working extra hours to get to this because I know I can do this. But as I reflected I realized that I helped someone in need and in return I was given help when I was in need. Now everyday I think how can I help someone today. Any small spark can change someones life and their day. All these events that I read and live have proven to me that a career in medicine is what I am supposed to do to continue to provide for those who need help and inspiration. Therefore, Thank you for being such a great inspiration.
