Great Spark! We took our children out to eat at a nice restaurant to celebrate a special occasion....after many delays, we finally closed on the land for our therapeutic riding center!!! Our family of 14 filled two booths and another table as well. The kids were excited as we discussed our plans for the future and as usual our meal time discussions led to much laughter and silliness. A sweet woman came up to us and asked where we found so many well behaved children. My husband explained that we had indeed been blessed enough to have experienced both the miracle of birth and adoption. She complimented us again on our family and left. The impact her words had on our children was visible and meant so much to this mothers heart. Far too often, we hear negativity regarding our family size and adoption. It is true that both have challenges, however, we believe the blessings surpass the difficulties by far. As we were preparing to leave, the manager came up to us and said a customer had left $30 to go towards our meal. I just wanted to publicly express my gratitude for the kindness and generosity shown to us yesterday. Thank you!!!
